How Do I…?

How do I find out about information technology, computer usage, WiFi, Internet access, or similar things at OISE?

How do I change to the new HP Laserjet 4250 printer?

How do I get office or locker space in the department?

How do I get reimbursed for conference or research travel expenses at OISE?

How do I keep in touch with what’s going on in and around the department?

How do I book a meeting room on the 7th floor?

Now I can answer the question myself: see Contact. Thought that an e-mail at the beginning of the semester said that I had to ask Bettina for a login to this site… but it seems open, so this was my confusion…

Hi Cristin. Yes, the site is open to everyone for leaving comments. You only need a login if you want to post messages on the front page, edit the pages etc. For now, we are keeping that open to people whom we think are likely to need to frequently post messages. However, anyone who wish to do so – and want to be added as a contributor to the blog – are welcome to drop us an email :-)

    Heya,

I have dental and medical insurance already. How do I go about opting out?

    Many thanks

Natasha – see the GSU Health Insurance Opt-Out web page for instructions. Opting out usually needs to be done before the first week of October in each academic year.
